The Village Clinic is a private billing clinic. Children aged under 14 years (15 minutes & under). It does not apply to small procedures (wound dressings, sutures, treatment of fractures, etc).
Pensioner and Health Care card holders may be eligible for a reduced fee.
Please note that bulk billing DOES NOT apply to any patient on weekends, public holidays, appointments from 3:00pm onward weekdays, small procedures, sutures, treatment of fractures, etc. Our bulk billing kids clinic, Mt. Eliza, is the perfect place for kids under the age of 14.
It is expected that all accounts must be fully paid at the end of the consultation. Accounts not settled on the day will attract a $10.00 accounting fee. Payment may be made by cash, credit card (Master Card or Visa), or EFTPOS. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. Should you have difficulty settling your account, our practice manager is available for a confidential discussion.
The initial consultation for all new patients (irrespective of age) booked as a long consultation will not be bulk billed. We are registered with Medicare for claiming rebates, which means your payments are lodged electronically after your consultation, and the rebate from Medicare will be refunded into your nominated bank account, usually within 24 hours.
Pre-booked consultation fees will apply if you book a long appointment 30 minutes. Medical examinations for insurance, pre-employment, etc. will be billed privately.
