Dr. Francis Ng is a highly skilled specialist general practitioner with extensive experience across various medical fields. From 2010 to 2020, he served as the Senior ENT Registrar at Peninsula Health and subsequently worked as an Emergency Registrar for an additional two years. His comprehensive training includes rotations in general medicine, psychiatry, general surgery, urology, and plastic & reconstructive surgery, providing him with a well-rounded medical expertise.

Dr. Ng’s clinical interests are diverse, with a particular focus on managing conditions such as epistaxis, tonsillitis, rhinosinusitis, and a variety of ENT-related issues, including foreign body removal from the ear, nose, and throat, post-tonsillectomy care, ear wax micro-suction, otitis media, and otitis externa. He is passionate about all aspects of general practice, especially paediatric care, family medicine, minor surgical procedures, laceration repairs, skin cancer excisions, and addressing emergency medical presentations.

A recipient of several prestigious awards, Dr. Ng’s accolades include the Professor Jonathan Serpell Prize for Excellence in Surgical Research and Endeavour in 2014, the Registrar Research Prize at Peninsula Health Celebrating Research in 2015, and the Peninsula Health Service Award in 2020. Dr. Ng has also contributed significantly to medical research, presenting his findings at various conferences across New Zealand and major Australian cities. He has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for the American Academy of Pediatrics Journal and Emergency Medicine Australasia Journal.

Currently, Dr. Ng works as senior medical staff in the Emergency Department at Frankston Hospital. He also co-manages the Clean Ears Clinic at Mornington ENT with Mr. Jamie Priestley. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Ng enjoys spending time with his family in Mount Eliza, where he often explores the local shopping scene and visits cafés in Mount Eliza Village.
